    The World Laureates Association Prize (referred to as the "WLA Prize") is a prestigious global science prize, initiated in 2021 in Shanghai by the World Laureates Association, organized by the WLA Shanghai Center, and exclusively funded by Sequoia China. The WLA Prize is designed to recognize and support outstanding researchers and technological pioneers from around the world for their contributions to science, with the aim of supporting global technological advancement, better addressing the common challenges faced by humanity, and promoting long-term progress in human society. The WLA Prize includes two categories: "WLA Prize in Computer Science or Mathematics" and the "WLA Prize in Life Science or Medicine." each with a prize of CNY 10 million RMB, which can be shared by up to four laureates.

    The World Laureates Association Laboratories (referred to as "WLA Laboratories"), established by WLA Shanghai Center and built upon the collaboration of the WLA and the WLA Forum, is an international, non-governmental, and open platform for basic research cooperation. WLA Laboratories aims to be a new type of research and development institution that is "international, non-governmental, high-level, large-scale, and sustainable," benchmarking against prestigious institutes like the Scripps Research Institute (TSRI), the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI), and the Institute for Advanced Study (IAS). The lab is dedicated to nurturing young scientific talents and future scientific leaders, fostering curiosity-driven scientific research. It provides research teams with conditions and financial support comparable to other top global research institutions and offers a stable "3+3", six-year support. WLA Laboratories is committed to stimulating the creativity of young talents, allowing them to pursue their scientific dreams in an open academic environment, with excellent experimental conditions and ample research funding.
